Norah Jones, 28, has all reasons to be elated as her first film opened the film festival in Cannes. ‘My Blueberry Nights’ is Hong kong director Wong Kar-Wai’s first English movie also starring Jude Law. Jones, who is sitar maestro Ravi Shankar’s daughter, plays a woman who goes on a road trip across America to heal a broken heart and understands the depth of loneliness along the way.
